Something has drawn you here - maybe you’ve heard us sing, maybe you love singing with others; maybe you’re finding your voice. However you’ve found us, you are so welcome!
We are a popular choir and currently at full capacity with a waiting list for new members until free spaces become available. If you are interested in joining Totnes Harmony Choir, we invite you to join the waiting list by registering your interest here.
When a place becomes available you will be invited to ‘try us out’ by booking a taster session to make sure this is the choir for you. You will then be invited for an audition with our Musical Director Ruairi Edwards.
We hold auditions to check whether you feel comfortable pitching and holding a harmony line, as we move at a slightly faster pace than a non-auditioned choir. The audition takes 10 minutes and involves some simple call-and-response exercises and a range-discovery.
Whilst auditions can perhaps feel daunting for some, most people ultimately find this to be a very rewarding process.
